Washing: Although dishwasher-safe, hand washing with a soft sponge and lukewarm water is recommended. This helps minimize natural wear and tear on the wood. Drying: Wipe them immediately after washing to prevent moisture from seeping into the material. Nourishing the wood: After several washes, or if you notice the wood is starting to look dry, apply a thin coat of food-grade oil (olive, linseed, walnut, etc.) with a clean cloth. Allow the wood to absorb the oil, then wipe off the excess with a soft, dry cloth. This step nourishes the wood, revives its natural color, and prolongs its lifespan.
